Description of the Program
This is a Four (04) year Honours Degree Program with 164 Credit Hours. During the first two years, the students will be introduced to the fundamentals of computer Science. This comprehensive introduction lays foundation in computer programming, data structures, computer hardware organizations, engineering mathematics and theory of computation. In this period, the students are also exposed to broad based pure science courses and a wide range of liberal arts courses, social science and some business courses.
The third year concentrates on broadening the fundamental knowledge in Computer Science and its applications. It will potentially form the basis for the student to become a well-balanced computer professional for the future.
During the fourth year, students are encouraged to deepen their understanding in areas of particular interest and ability to expose them to the systems used in the business community. A student will be required to complete a minimum of 158 credits in order to achieve his Bachelor degree.
